Pacific Beach is a beach housing and rental community only minutes from the sky scrappers of downtown San Diego. The apartments hear are not in the new communities like those of surrounding areas. They are typically in complex's under 6 units. Your rent will be higher in Pacific Beach than most of San Diego but you have an apartment by the Beach !! As with any CA beach neighborhood PB also has the best nightlife for the young (young at heart), laid back shopping, coffee shops and retail stores of San Diego. Because Pacific Beach is a true beach community you can feel comfortable dining in most restaurants in your flip-flops and bikini.

Because of all the great things this community has to offer the real estate sales and apartment markets have been on the rise here for some time. Pacific Beach still has the feel of an old California beach town, and the apartments or bungalows have more personality than the cookie cutter complex's now filling most of San Diego. With this personality comes an apartment trade off, most of the apartments do not have dishwashers, pools, weight rooms, or volley ball courts (but the beach does). You are paying for the lifestyle and loose out on the apartment amenities.

Near the apartment and rentals you will find surf shops and beach equipment rental stores.
For most the best attraction is the Pacific Ocean and a summer here in a great apartment can't be beat. You can swim, surf, boogie board, beach comb, sun bathe, snorkel and of course watch the sunset. Roast marshmallows over a beach bonfire in one of the city-provided fire rings.
